With 4,800 square meters of covered area, the structure houses 86 booths

The ExpoQueijo Brasil 2026 – Araxá International Cheese Awards officially opened the fair and business area on the afternoon of this Thursday (25th) in the event pavilion, located on the outdoor grounds of the Grande Hotel e Termas de Araxá. The space marked the start of activities open to the public, bringing together exhibitors, launches, tastings, product sales, and opportunities for connection among producers, retailers, and consumers.

The structure features approximately 4,800 square meters of covered area, the largest ever installed in the history of ExpoQueijo. In total, there are 86 booths and a large food court with 28 dining options, including restaurants, bars, and food trucks, expanding the range of experiences for visitors.

Among the exhibitors is Mariana Andrade Silva, from Lavras, in the south of Minas Gerais. A judge at ExpoQueijo for four years, she is participating as an exhibitor for the first time, presenting an artisanal dulce de leche candy made only with milk and sugar. “It’s very rewarding to be here at the fair and to see people’s reactions when they taste our product. End consumers and retailers pass through here. From that, we gain new partners, new customers, and more visibility to expand our business,” she says.

Exhibitor Ana Cristina Corrêa da Silva, from Uberaba, is participating in ExpoQueijo for the second year with a cachaça that has been produced for 15 years. For her, the fair serves as a showcase for products and brand stories. “The expectation is good. For us, a fair is a showcase. It’s important because people can get to know, taste, and later seek it for resale or buy it here. Visibility is the key word,” she states.

The fair and business area remains open to the public until Sunday (28th). On this Friday (26th), operations begin at 2 PM. On Saturday (27th) and Sunday (28th), opening will be at 10 AM.
