Studio brings together interviews, behind-the-scenes content and exclusive material during the event’s programming

The ExpoQueijo Brasil 2026 – Araxá International Cheese Awards debuted a new way to bring behind-the-scenes content, debates and stories of the event to the public. PodQueijo was set up in the fair space and features live interviews with producers, specialists, judges, technicians and guests linked to the artisanal cheese production chain.

Leading the presentation, communicator Alexandre César highlights that the podcast expands the dissemination of what happens during ExpoQueijo, with a more spontaneous and accessible language for the audience. “It’s a new way to showcase what happens inside ExpoQueijo Brasil. Producers, technicians, the public and people participating in the various movements of the event come through here, bringing experiences and stories,” he says.

PodQueijo’s programming includes conversations about artisanal production, competitions, technical training, the market, legislation and the challenges faced by those working in the sector. Among the guests were also award-winning producers and representatives of institutions linked to the regulation and development of the activity.

Veterinarian, federal agricultural tax auditor at the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAPA) and coordinator of policies to promote artisanal products, Carlos Roberto de Castro Caiôca, participated in one of the interviews, in which he addressed the impacts of the Mercosur-European Union agreement on artisanal cheeses. He also highlighted the importance of PodQueijo as a space for exchanging experiences. “ExpoQueijo, besides bringing cheeses and the awards, which greatly values producers, also provides an opportunity to discuss relevant themes of artisanal production, which contribute to strengthening the sector,” he says.
