The ceremony brought together authorities, agribusiness leaders and representatives from several countries, marking the beginning of four days of technical, gastronomic, cultural and business programming
ExpoQueijo Brasil 2026 was officially opened this Thursday (25), at the Grande Hotel Termas de Araxá, consolidating the growth trajectory of what is considered the largest event dedicated to artisan cheeses in the Americas. The ceremony brought together authorities, representatives of public and private institutions, agribusiness leaders, rural producers, entrepreneurs and guests who followed the beginning of the fair’s programming.
The solemnity marked the opening of four days of activities that transform Araxá into an international center for debates, business and appreciation of cheese production. The programming includes an international competition, a business fair, a technical forum, workshops, a cooking show, tastings, cultural presentations and an extensive schedule of free shows.
ExpoQueijo Brasil continues until Sunday (28), with the expectation of receiving thousands of visitors and reinforcing the leading role of Araxá as one of the main hubs for valuing artisan cheese culture in the Americas.
